Fellow CDs, are you working with independent recruiters, reaching out directly to the agency recruiters you’re interested in, or something else?

I cleared Accenture interview and today got an email to upload documents on their portal. Also, got a call from HR and she asked about the salary expectations and other details. And few minutes later I found that my profile has been put on hold.

question is, they will negotiate with me or they have rejected my profile ?

Whats’s the ideal CV length for UK mid-level roles (4-5 YoE) to engage recruiters?

Is 1 page containing punchy & concise XYZ points preferred in the UK over 2 pages inc. a bit more details of projects/ tasks?

What companies in India only take about 2-3 rounds of interview? Which companies have the quickest interviewing process in India?

My interview got over on June 29th right after the interview the recruiter called me and told I’m selected and they will be sending the offer letter. He mentioned there will be a delay in releasing the offer letter since merging is happening right now. few days back I sent a mail to HR.. but no reply. and after that I received a mail stating they are no longer considering me for this position. Hey everyone - I could do with some advice. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am having a hard time getting interview calls. I am trying to pivot from consulting to the industry and targeting project/program management roles. I have been doing this work for 7+ years now (total YOE 12 years) so certainly have the right skillset. I have tried a couple of referrals too but that didn’t help either. Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
