I’m a tax senior wanting to pivot into a financial analyst role. I understand I’ll have to take a pay cut and will essentially be starting from zero. What can I do to make myself more marketable for this role? I was considered courses on sql, tableau, maybe python but even entry level positions seem to require 1-2 years experience. Any advice?

Learn SQL and a visualization tool. Then you just have to network hard.

You can easily lateral without taking a pay cut, in fact you should expect a pretty sizable increase in comp

Pivoted as a second year audit associate into an entry level analytics consultant role (heavy SQL) and got a 35% pay bump to do it. So pick up a couple skills and be picky and patient in the market you can do it!

Hi fishies 🐠 I’m an Art Director that’s trying to transition over to UX Design. I have experience building websites and some previous freelance work doing some UI/UX. What’s the best route to transition over and would I need to apply for entry level roles? Does an AD role with a UI/UX focus even exist? I enjoy the thinking of UX design and am comfortable designing interfaces but I’m mostly unsure of the process of working with an UX team. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Looking to make $25-35 an hour, and have had long term positions such as Clinical Secretary & Receptionist/Administrator, Accounts Payable Clerk, Team Lead, and Sales Associate. I’m willing to try new things and am a very quick learner, and can handle multitasking and high pace. Does anyone know of any good work from home positions?
