Hi everyone! Does anyone in here work for Omada Health ? I have an interview next Wednesday for a PT Member Support Agent role and am unclear on what the pay could be. Glassdoor has the pay estimate at 42k-48k, but I found a comment where someone in the same role mentioned only getting paid $12/hr. I have 8 years of experience as a CSR but I’ve had a couple year gap in between now and my last job. TIA Any advice helps .

It’s a craft not a formula so ignore the Julia scold and sewer head hacks and just learn from your betters... the people in the trenches who’ve been their longer than you.
Best thing you can do is admit you know nothing and ask for help. At first we’ll resent you but as you learn we’ll love you and soon enough we’ll be so invested in your success like a bunch of proud parents

So true. Listen, learn, ask other strategists about mistakes that were made. And when you fail (it hurts, but we all will fail), truly analyze how to improve and never let it happen again. That is called experience, and it's what makes high rates valid. It's insurance for the client you won't fuck their shit up.
Try to observe something new every day, ask questions (of yourself and others) about what you learn. Exercising your curiosity every day will really help get the analytical juices flowing! Also, if you have the time/are able to financially, Julian Cole’s online Planning Dirty Academy is great. He made some of the videos free currently so you can get a taste for it.

Find and own all the standard methods of cultural trend/insight mining (reports, blah blah). Then, as others said, spend the rest of the time immersing yourself in interesting things and situations where you learn about human nature - this can really be anything - watching standup comedy, just living your life, observing bestselling book lists, people watching. Observe and take note of what you find interesting / surprising. Keep a book or a note. This is where you’ll learn to sharpen your insight abilities, and how you’ll collect a treasure trove over the years to whip out when needed. Also, I agree not to follow the experts verbatim but I think it’s useful to have a reference as you refine and hone your skills. Mark Pollard is doing great work on a lot of strategy basics.

Learn the craft skills. It’s the most important part at this point
I also switched from account to strategy about 6 months ago. It’s a serious mindset shift but congrats on making the jump! Feel free to PM me if you want to chat more specifically about the transition from account 😊
On one hand you have a leg up with your experience in creating relationships with your clients. Now it’s about proving strategic value to them. Start with their business challenge and build your solves around that. Better yet is figuring out how they’re reviewed/ get their yearly bonus and build solutions that help them personally achieve success.
Made the switch from account to strategy recently. There are so many great resources to help build your foundation, Julian Cole’s planning dirty is great. Also the strategy twitter verse is a great global community to engage with. Be curious, patient and a great partner to your account and creative teams! Feel free to PM me if you want to chat 👍🏽
