I’m an FA within the bank channel and have made the mistake of leaving my first firm to go to another. bank program that ended up failing and sold our books to another firm. It’s become harder and harder to grow a book now within the bank channel because of Reg BI and it’s going to take me a decade to grow my book to where I want to be. I’m a CFP and finishing up my MBA. I’m thinking of going to another area of Finance all together like PE. Any suggestions for me? NOT looking to go Independent.

Any tips for moving up in a medium/large-sized legal department, aside from switching companies? I work in a collegial environment with plenty of opportunities to create more value, but the management level is fairly crowded and it seems the clearest path to get one of those roles is to be hired into it. I'm starting to look around for something impactful and could use some help. Amazon's remote roles are pretty limited. I have a heavy background with cloud, AI/ML and data. Looking for advice. Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
