Definitely say it. It helps from a D&I perspective.
Typically speaking, each school tends to have D&I targets. So being explicit about it and weaving it into your story, helps with your candidacy. I always say, us minorities tend to have few advantages in the heteronormative world, and we should take advantage of it, where we can

There’s not much value to mention that on resume unless you have a leadership’s role in that. You can be self-identified as LGBTQ during the application though which may give you a higher chance of getting an interview but nothing more than that.
OP is involved in activities, so I’d def mention it even if not a leader. I was doing that at Deloitte as a simple member and event organizer and it really created opportunities for conversations.
It also will connect you with LGBTQ+ student groups that will help you through the application / recruiting processes. Many schools will assign you a mentor to help you prep for the school interview and address any questions
Just curious why apply to both?
Also absolutely mention it. HBS for example explicitly states what % of their class identifies as lgbt+
I mentioned it in my application and received questions about it during interviews. Outside of D&I it also shows community involvement which schools look for

See if you can connect with folks from their LGBTQ+ groups (e.g GLAM for McKinsey). I know they sometimes offer mentorship to give you extra help during the recruitment process.
