I would start with anywhere you have connections or have heard through your network has a good reputation. Are you looking for remote, hybrid or local? What companies are HQed in your market? What industries or verticals is your experience in? If you enjoy creative & strategy projects, look for companies that do their marketing in-house. If you enjoy tech projects, that casts a wider net for IT project management. You may also find that some companies prefer a PMP certification, so could look into that!
You can do it. It’s tough searching when you’re swamped, but try to set aside time and be super thoughtful about the next place you land - it’ll be worth it.

Stability is in enterprise companies. Money is in some of them but also very much in fintech startups. Negotiate a bump in title when going somewhere seemingly unsexy. Beware, startups are just starting layoffs, it will continue all summer and maybe into fall. They don’t cut the snacks and travel and 401k matching first. They’re cutting staff because boards are asking for it, and they won’t keep the newbie over someone who is a known entity.
I am in tech and agree if you’re a creative, but project/program management or resource management roles will be among the last to go. It’s a stable place based on OP’s skill set and one of the easiest to transition into.
