Is Nagarro good to join? I have a fully remote opportunity which I'm pretty sure I can crack. Is the pay and benefits good at Nagarro? Do they provide laptop and test devices or will I have to work on my laptop? Do they give medical insurance etc? What if the project gets over. Do they have enough projects or will I be asked to move to a different technology? Will I be fired if on bench? Nagarro

Depends on who you work for and what department. I was there recently and the 2nd years started at 100, with bonuses for hitting targets. The salary and the bonuses increase each year you’re there, as long as they like you and you bit your targets. There’s some great lawyers there, it’s just SO BUSY.
I work here. I make $106k as a 3rd year in a mid-size market. They are constantly hiring and seem to be more concerned with quantity than quality, so at least in my office, there’s not always a ton of work and high billable quotas. The billable rate is pathetic, even for partners, so they are cheap about a lot of things (see above, holiday parties as an example.) I regret coming here but I moved from a major market unexpectedly and it was one of the only Am100 with a presence in the smaller city and I needed something. Wish I would have done more homework.
Depends on the specialty. GL rates are MUCH lower than employment.
It’s a dumpster fire parading around as a law firm.
👏👏
It’s more like the Macdonald’s of law firms - it’s everywhere but no one wants them to be
🤣
This doesn’t directly answer your question but thought I’d share: https://abovethelaw.com/2016/12/biglaw-refuses-to-invite-associates-to-its-holiday-party/
Like every other law firm, it depends on who you work for
We take a lot of their refugees. Very few have anything good to say.
Who is we
Despite the uh overwhelmingly negative responses, I was on board because my experience during the recruiting process was vastly different but something sketchy happened between the offer and the written offer, and I will not be moving firms. FYI, their salary varies wildly. I’m a mid-level and was offered 100 *more* than another mid-level because of the practice area and office.
What practice area? I'm a new attorney and would love to be in a practice area that pays well.
When I interviewed with them as a third year (last year), they balked when I told them I was making 100k where I was at. LA office.
Respectfully, I disagree. I’d rather work in a windowless closet and make more money than have a fancy office. I have a super fancy office now, and I’d take a bigger bonus over the view anytime. They do that to impress their clients and feel baller, it’s not for the associates. Keep your high rise and pay what AmLaws should pay. Cause Lewis Brisbois sure ain’t.
Throw the whole law firm our 😂
As one person mentioned- they definitely value quantity (bill, bill, bill) over quality.
It’s like the Walmart of law firms
LBBS doesn't have a great rep in a lot of markets - often viewed as churn and burn. Also, it's basically all cash compensation. Which is fine, but maybe factor into your analysis the value of benefits.
Good grief, and the comp is already dang low for the expected hours.
Which Lewis Brisbois office and what year are you
Don’t.
