Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

I changed companies in August. I applied to about a dozen roles over the span of 2 months and most gave me interviews. I cancelled a number of them when I got the offer I wanted which took about a month post-application. But I am at a sweet spot in terms of specialty and YOE. Many people are applying to dozens if not hundreds of roles and getting ghosted. In this market, competitive candidates are competitive, and all others are getting ignored.

I presume that's impossible to quantify. Someone with experience a firm needs would only have to apply to one job to receive an offer. Others may fire off applications for a long time to get anyone to express interest. It's not a great job market, so the best approach is to be at the top of your game and be relentless.
Your questions are very market dependent and will vary by candidate. Since you've asked such a vague question, I think you're going to get unhelpful responses.
My ratio is about 3-5 interviews per 75 applications. 126 total interviews including all rounds, of those I’ve received only 1 offer that converted to a job (temp assignment that ended a year ago). I’ve also had 2 verbal offers completely disintegrate.
