Have an offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role but it seems like this one requires 2-3 days in the office - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?
I got Senior Analyst role at Roche,Chennai and Analyst role at Novartis. Roche is offering 1 Lakh more than Novartis.
Which one do I choose?
One advantage with Novartis is it is in my hometown. I'm thinking of joining Roche for now and then apply Novartis may be 2-3 years later for Asst. Manager role.
Also how is it like working in Roche? ( Growth, WLB)
Thanks in advance!

Can you ask them to update the title?
Wow that much for a Sr Accountant almost seems too good to be true. If through the interview process you feel that the company is stable, you like the team, you know the type of work you're in for and how busy it will get and you see yourself staying long enough to rise through the ranks, I would definitely take the offer.
As a Sr Manager working as a Sr Accountant you should be able to prove yourself and hopefully land yourself a promotion in the future. But I'm sure that since the company is hiring for that role, be comfortable with that title. If the title doesn't bother you that much, you should go for it. With that kind of comp I would take up that offer in a heartbeat! All the best!
One other thought is if you can get a Director level position at any other company with similar comp then definitely consider that too!!
I dont think it will be harder for you to get back into to a SM role. The points you mentioned above have merit which you can mention if you were to change jobs for a SM role...its a growing company that is going through sig growth and they are hiring a very experienced team as evidenced by the type of comp being offered. It really shows the level and quality of the person the company is looking for. I therefore think in reality it's higher level role based on the above so I'm pretty sure you can talk your way back into an SM role if you later decide to change jobs. I say go for it!
If I were in your shoes, I would do it. That comp increase is really significant. I wouldn’t get hung up on the title thing. You will likely be able to move up there and, personally, I wouldn’t care if I was making that much as a senior accountant.
Compared to my prior firm’s compensation, you would be making more than associates, senior associates, managers, senior managers, directors, and some partners. Think about that.
Why not? At the min, you can use the new job to ahead financially. If you don’t like it in a couple of years, you can come back to Public accounting
