I’m desperate to get out of my current firm (boutique ops shop). Today I got an offer from a direct competitor of ours (also boutique ops) with a title bump to Senior Consultant and a 6% salary bump.

My goal is to get into a tier 2/mbb (Kearney is the top pick) in early 2021.

Should I take the offer and keep looking or do I stay and keep trying for tier 2/mbb?

I am 7 yoe as TechnoFuntional Consultant working with SAP ABAP and SAP SD. I started as ABAP extensively working with SD, so certified in SD. Is there a demand for this type of skill? What role should I look for?
Any inputs are helpful.

Does anyone work in an area with lots of exterior environmental noise (traffic, concerts, trains, etc.) and have tips for not becoming overwhelmed and/or distracted by it? I’m finding that environmental noise has increased near my office now that tourism has picked back up in my city, and I’m struggling to block it out. I’ve tried earplugs but the noises tend to vibrate my office building so the earplugs don’t work well as an entire block.
