They may make you do a blood ritual; corporate can get weird like that.
It’s to ensure a secure cycle sync
HR round is looking for culture fit ( so sift skills vs hard skills) Make sure you bring forward things you have done as part of a community. Goals you have been part of as a “we” va a “me”. Bonus points for anything you have done that not political. Client side is very mindful of the brand reputation vs the individual. Much stricter. Might have a background and drug/alcohol test. Good luck.
This where you get canned before you get hired
I had 6 interviews over a month to get my inhouse gig. After the 2nd interview i just asked them what i should do to prepare for the next ones. They gladly gave me some resources (articles, talks/podcasts with the CMO, etc) and i killed the following interviews. They even increased their offer.
HR rounds can often just be a legal check the box thing. So just make sure if you talk about your work history it is 100% aligned with your CV, LinkedIn and anything you’ve told them. They may ask you about being in office vs remote days and flexibility. They won’t really ask much at this point about your technical skill and ability to do the work. Thats not their expertise. It will be more about how you function, potentially work with others, if not already request for references. Take it seriously but this is not a make or break.

HR will probably be checking your vibe to make sure you’re not a loose cannon that could compromise the organization. You’re very much representing the entire company out in the wild once you get hired in-house and they take it really seriously.
I remember seeing a guy I had worked with before leave an HR interview at one of my jobs. HR saw me chatting with him so they asked a few innocent questions about him, and I tried to help him a bit by answering. I found out later he’d significantly inflated his title and responsibilities on his resume and interviews, and the only reason he was caught was that random encounter.
