It is only now in my early thirty's and after a couple of really tough years at work, do I recognize the benefit and need for a mentor. I do not think I have ever had one really, only 'okay' male bosses. As the only woman in my company (for 5+ years now) I'm not even sure how I can find a 'mentor' outside of my company or if that is even a thing? I see that my more 'successful' friends have had female bosses they rave about or appointed mentors at each level of their career. Any advice?

You can check Udemy. What do you mean by better slides? For what type of presentation?
Thanks Deloitte 1. One thing I failed to mention was that this is an internal consulting function. Therefore, I would have to build out models time and again. Any recs for upskilling?
How do you feel that your written communication needs improving? And your slides? What type of changes do you feel that you need to make?

I'm not a native English speaker, and the following are my self-identified areas of improvement
1. Writing shorter sentences instead of long convoluted ones
2. Using apt words
3. Understanding components of business writing. How to write a memo that the board would love to read.
In terms of slides, I think I'm good. But I want to get better. Particularly visualizing graphs and using PowerPoint better.
