Did you still get promoted to manager? How are your ratings? What do you mean “by no fault of your own”?
While there are definitely other situations/outliers, my experience is that significantly low utilization outliers are 9 of 10 times the result of a reputation of perceived performance issues and not getting picked up by new teams as a result.
The LEAD system is super opaque and even once raises do come out I have a strong feeling that it will be very hard to make sense of anything. I believe that moving away from number-ratings in an employee population that prefers numerical data, whether those numbers produced fair outcomes and drove performance improvement or not, will lead to a serious backlash that will appear as reduced job satisfaction levels and lower employee retention rates (and not just the low performers leaving which is par for the course).
Well 7 weeks of pay for not doing squat. Your “vacay” is factored into the minuscule raise your going to get.
Util for seniors at pwc is now 80% so probably only kind of to average fucked
Heard our utilization won’t even be considered with the new system 😒 plus, the way it’s been going - seems it’s all upper management’s decisions - I/e nobody knows how it all works since it’s the first year in the new system = not holding my breath on anything, but never really did when it came to raises/bonuses lol

Promo to senior. I was staffed on a job I wasn't allowed to work on until certain paperwork came through authorizing me to work on the client which took over 7 weeks. Only reason I was put on that was because staffing lent me to another office and didn't have a plan B for me when they were told my time from March through the end of June would be dropped during Q2 due to client component location changes. That email was sent to them first week of March. I had about a weeks notice once my time was dropped while staffing had over a month before my time was actually dropped. Followed up with staffing every 2 weeks I was still not allowed to work and asked my manager for work towards the beginning...and they were useless. Staffing had the nerve to tell me they had no idea too....
