I’m in an advanced interview stage with one of the MBBs. My partner works at a competing MBB. Is there a potential conflict of interest?

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again.
