I’m in government consulting (top performance, cusp of M) but have somehow gotten outreach now about multiple transformation roles at portcos. I didn’t get the first one but made it all the way to the final interview.

Honestly I don’t know how much gov consulting actually translates since I pretty much have 0 financial modeling experience- would I be able to learn quick and do it or fall on my face if I actually got into one of these roles?

Interviewing for an L6 TPM role at Amazon and have received a request to submit a writing assignment (post phone screen) that is due before the interview loop.

Would it be a problem if I write about the same scenario from my phone screen, with more specificity? I have a great example on the innovation option, but HM already touched on this topic. I think the intent is to just gauge my writing style, but don’t want to assume.

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
