Hi Infosys guys, I have cleared one technical interview and got email for further round which is planned for tomorrow. Email mentions that this is a telephonic interview, is this supposed to be an HR round discussing salary or another tech round.

Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?

Usually PTO goes up with your position within the firm so you aren’t really starting from scratch.
I doubt you'd be able to get the accrual structure to change, but I have managed to get myself a few extra days off on multiple occasions. Companies are usually more willing to compromise on PTO than base, bonus, etc.
sign-on bonus is likely. nobody is going to change the PTO for just you.
There are plenty of companies out there that can and have negotiated PTO accrual rates – it can be done.
Yeah, I think a sign on bonus is more likely to offset a set PTO amount in the event of an offer and negotiation, based off my experience processing offer letters for candidates. Usually for a company with a set PTO policy, the accrual structure is established and accrues on years of employee service. Best of luck!
