I’m interviewing for a Data Science Associate role at a mid size fin tech right now. Afraid to make the jump as I’m only a few months into first strategy job. Feel like I’ll be around more high achievers in consulting, but if in the end everyone (an exaggeration) is trying to funnel into product management, should I jump ahead of the curve?

Are there any Business Analyst jobs in Kyndryl pertaining to SDLC, Agile-Scrum? If yes, how to search for such jobs? As jobs listed on career portal or even PROM doesn't provide accurate detail or the job title is not in line with the description. And at what band are such jobs?

Looking for an actual Business Analyst job so as to have work exp. and eligibility criteria for certifications like PMI-ACP, IIBA-AAC, CSM be matched.

I received an offer for a role that is a lot more money than I thought but I still want to negotiate and see how much more money I can get. What can I say if the salary is already above average for the role in the market and city I live in?

You have to do so much of it, and it's so annoying. You have to cite your sources, but there are so many different formats for citations! And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? And even then, they might not be sure whether it should be an in-text citation or a footnote…

That would be a lateral move for me in terms of level which be okay if at least it was a good pay increase but Their quoted pay range for the lower level would make it almost a lateral move financially too..

Beyond frustrating

Do titles in industry matter when exploring an exit? Which title seems better - Principal - Strategy or Senior Director - Strategy if everything else is equal.

Trying to buy a house and the home inspection identified termites - seller said it was taken care of during gut renovation prior to them moving in? They’ve done inspection every year and no active termites. Is this house still worth it? Aside from this, it’s a dream home 😥

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?
