I'm interviewing for what sounds like 2 different roles at Amazon (not AWS) they are both L6 but in different areas of the business. One is in Finance/Global Business Services and the other is in Project/Product/Program Management (Non-tech). I feel like one of the roles is more senior in the work the one in Project/Product/Program Management and to be hone the on in Finance/Global business services seems much less intense. Do you think they'd offer me significantly more for one role?

I've been thinking a lot about women in leadership positions and their choices to support or undermine other women, especially if those other women are talented/skilled and perceived as a threat. In the very competitive space of advertising/marketing, scarcity is a dynamic that may compel some women leaders to be unempathetic, uncompassionate, distant and even bullying and scapegoating to hold onto their position and be taken seriously. It's sad, weak, and hurts all of us. What do you all think?

I work at an US bank in a middle office role in India but I’m not liking it much because it’s process oriented. Now I’m getting an offer from an Indian based bank for the Treasury and FX sales role but I’m so confused about the job security and targets. My questions are below:

1) Will I be asked to work for 12 hours?
2) Will I be given targets and if I don’t meet it, will I be fired or something?

What’s a good starting salary for a newer attorney? I’ve never worked anywhere but in the public sector (even before becoming an attorney). Ugh, I am four business days past my loop interview and tomorrow is five, which is their maximum number of days they said they would take to make a decision. I’m trying to be optimistic, like, if they unanimously didn’t want me they probably would have told me sooner. But who knows?!
