I'm keen to know the salary range of a "head of" within big 4 banks in Australia. I applied to a similar financial services firm and I'm being asked how much is my pay expectation. I have 19 years of exp. Just want to make sure im not under quoting. Further the range provided in glassdoor is too broad sadly. Please can anyone help?

Anyone has input on Director of programmatic salary? What’s over, fair and under paid?

Currently I have offers from 2 companies (say A and B), A is paying more but I want to join B (B is paying less but better brand). Planning to ask B to match salary that A offers. Have 2 doubts:
1) Does companies actually verifies the pay that the competition is offering? (Dont want to ruin my offer with A if B doesn't match the salary)
2) Will it impact my job prospects at A if it gets to know I tried to match their offer from a competition?

How do you best leverage a job offer when you don’t want to leave? In the running for a VP job (higher level than now) that pays $70k higher than what I currently make.
