The right answer is to ghost the firm. If someone pings you and you need to reply. Tell them you’re sick or taking vacation. Eventually HR will get around to terminating you.

A staff that left our firm tried this with us in October and his “two week” notice turned in to two days. Partners see right through that; you’re trying not to work for the last week but still get paid for it knowing that you’re leaving. Overall, you can go for it if you want, but be prepared for a similar response.
Crappy part about the staff that tried it is that he was a really good team member that everyone got along with, but that last move left a bad taste in our mouths.
Thank you for the advice. I have had the week scheduled for vacation since last December, so I am hoping it’ll be taken better than like your scenario.
You could, but if I were you, I wouldn’t and take the pto payout instead.
Oof is right!! Man oh man EY. I hope none of the other Big 4 firms change to unlimited.
I believe EY policy is you only have to work your last full day of employment. So you could take 4 days off. Discuss with talent team once you put in your notice.
Thank you for the heads up.

Take the 2 weeks off and then make your resignation immediate upon returning.

Isn’t it the firm burning the bridge by not allowing you to take your earned vacation and trying to term you same day instead?
Take the PTO payout ! The last week you will be offloading your work anyways so it will be chill.
Is it possible to take your holiday and then maybe resign whilst you're on holiday so that you do actually do some work when you get back. Otherwise, as per other comments, it's likely you won't be allowed to take your paid vacation as they will make you leave before then.
Uipath is not something that someone can pick up and learn for a short of time. Shame on them to lose you. Anyway, congratulations.
Just shut down your computer lol you are leaving what they gonna do to you?

I know GT does not recognize FTO during your notice period and will either cancel the FTO or make your resignation effective earlier.
