McKinsey & Company I'm really trying to get out of the fed govt space and am at Guidehouse. I have a few interviews lined up, but in large it seems they are detracted by the government work on my resume.

I have joined Infosys 2 weeks back. They have mapped me to a certain project but everyday I am getting calls for the skill sets that don't match to my current skill set. They are telling me to attend client interview and giving me just 1 week of time to prepare for a totally new technology.

Hi Fishes/Sharks,
Can someone please tell me how is the hiring process of Credit Suisse??
I had my 1st interview last to last week and after that no communication till now. And no update on my application on the portal.
I have heard the hiring process is very slow here. Is this true? How long would they take to schedule the 2nd round (if I am shortlisted).
Please advise.
TIA.

Any additional info on the process. Also, any tips moving forward in interview process, especially given industry - consulting transition. Thanks!

How do you even do this! I’m at GH and have no idea where to begin
Same as GH1, been about half a year since I’ve joined CE&I as a campus hire but I would like to pivot. Any advice?
Get an MBA from top business program (M7).
So speaking from experience, unfortunately, government workers tend to get pigeonholed. MBA on-campus recruitment is one of the only ways to pivot into industry. Even then, recruiters still try to recruit you for roles that touch on government (ex: federal / govnt practice at consulting firms).
Otherwise, depending on where OP is currently, they can look at lobbying or government affairs functions within companies.
