they’re no longer interested
I’d assume there wasn’t a mutual interest to move fwd
In my experience, when recruiters reach out to me for a role for which I’m a solid fit, things moved pretty quickly
That said, maybe I’m too passive when it comes to this stuff 🤷♂️
The recruiter (if good) should provide a status of the opportunity .. taking that aside often in consulting there could be a delay in the potential client contract signing for which the position was relevant and offer can't go out until contract is signed .. or the client opportunity went to another consulting firm and position is no longer available. Regardless, IMO, after 30 days of no contact would suggest dropping it and look for opportunities at another firm.
No interest. At least, the recruiter should have communicated that to you.
What role is this and which office?
Is it a client facing role? Never heard of “hiring manager” term for generalist/ expert hires. Guess likely it’s low key hiring freeze for experienced hire.
Nonetheless, you’ve done what you’re supposed to be and it’s December so people are taking it slow. Usually no interviews are conducted in December.
