I’m thinking of going back to school to study law. I’ve done engineering at multiple companies, but I wake up with job anxiety every single day at every single company. I’m a great persuasive writer and thinker, and becoming a patent attorney would almost double my salary after only three years of schooling. The problem is that I’m concerned I’ll go back to school to spend time and money on something I dread just as much as what I currently do. Has anyone made a similar career transition?

Is it wise to switch from testing background to Salesforce after 10 years of IT experience? If so should I start as an admin?

FAANG (or MANGA) companies seem to be the holy grail for lots of people exiting BIG4 or even banking/consulting types looking for finance analyst type roles in industry.

Anecdotally, the pay & culture seems good at those companies, but are there significant cons to "finance analyst" type roles in those orgs which would deter you from working from them? (I.e work hours, progression etc?)

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!
