Hi #Urgent
Got the Offer Letter from Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.
which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.
Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.
(already passed my LWD: 2nd nov)

I am horrified by these replies. “Talk to your supervisors”? Really?! No. Talk to your own conscience and leave that place. Take care of yourself. Find one where people’s health and well-being comes first. Advertising is not worth the pain. Literally
If your health is seriously damaged because of stress related to your work, there is not really an option here. Your longterm well-being is always more important than your current job. Start by letting your supervisor know you need to cut your workload a bit. And probably start looking for a different job? That's stressful too, but at least it can give you some hope of a better position. Best wishes to you!
Have you spoken to your doctor? Or perhaps looked into the EAP program at work? Most companies offer free sessions with a therapist or stress specialist, and can also help you find a local therapist or other mental health professional.
While I agree with DDB1 that you need to consider if your work environment is wrong for you, the reality is that our jobs are stressful. They don’t ever become less stressful, we just become better at dealing with it. I’ve started meditation, which helps. But you need to find what works for you.
There is no stigma to getting mental health help. But ignoring it won’t help. The fact that you are asking here for help tells me you are likely open to it. 👍🏼
I hope that does help. Feel free to reach out personally if you just want an ear to chat with. I’ve been there! ❤️

Listen to your doctor
I started meditating and visiting dog shelters (you can usually volunteer to walk a dog at most of them). It helped a lot.
If the stress is work related. Is this something you can talk with your supervisor to lessen the load for you? Or try to work out some of the stressors that you face during work.
AD1, yes I think I really should talk to my bosses about it. And I have fear talk to them because I knew they won't change much after all. (I have two bosses)
Talk to HR.
Are you taking Omeprasole? I am and it helps
Be careful with omneperezole. Took it for years and now have preosteroperosis and SUPER weak bones.
Tums are your friend. Cutting out alcohol. Charcoal tablets every once in a while to reset and refilter.
Sorry to hear you’re not well. I have a stress induced chronic illness. Without being fully aware of your situation at work, I can say that it’s usually not the job that’s stressful, but how the industry encourages agencies to operate in a stressful manner.
If you’re keen on staying in advertising, I’d suggest finding methods that help to reduce the amount of stress you feel on a day to day basis. It’s a skill for life, but not super easy to develop. What works for me is forming a second career outside of work (it’s made me less afraid to say no or get fired), not drinking, walks at lunch, cutting back on sugar and caffeine and anything that affects my energy levels.
