Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

We’re on a cohort system. If you are coming in with a year of applicable consulting experience you’ll probably be placed a SA2 which is a 173k base
Correction. Base is $171k. Source:I am an SA2.
Signing bonus was $25k for 2018 SA start post-target MBA
Thanks for the perspective everyone! What was the signing bonus? 25? 30?
30K for incoming this year from MBA
And base for SA1, SA2, and SA3 are set, so you can just negotiate on which level you should get
But also be careful at going too high. You don’t want to start as an SA3 and then be put in an up or out situation.
The reason the posters above are so focused on what school you graduated from is that the MBA has different value if its from one of our “target schools” or not. You may be worth less and command a lower level/salary if your MBA is not a target program.
I realize how annoying and unfair this sounds, but just giving you the facts!
Your MBA is just one part of your application, but an MBA isn’t even required (though in most cases it helps).
If you got an interview then at this point it shouldn’t matter.
Remember you brought up your MBA and described it as “top 10”. You shouldn’t be surprised or become defensive when someone (from EY) asked for more detail.
