I am an account manager. More on the Operation side than sales. I help manage day to day needs of our client, develop training docs, and usually the go to for the coordinators when they can’t solve any issues in the account. I have not received a raise in a little over a year and I feel underpaid with my background. How big of a bump in salary should I request?

After every busy season, I think about leaving public accounting and/or the firm. I have 5+ years in tax. Anyone switch to audit/consulting from tax? Two busy seasons a year, with barely anytime to chill in between is exhausting. Anyone in private looking to hire someone with a background in federal tax?

Sinple advise those who are waiting for SA promotion... whatever package u r getting as A you will get only 15% hike for promotion to SA...so it's nt at well worth, Better switch.

My brother has 8 YOE post his Masters with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk. Why is it that when the subject of pregnancy is brought up, people love to share their traumatic stories and the m- word (pregnancy loss). "Oh you know that m-s are so common.." like did I ask you?!
