I'm wanting to know what people think is better. Kaiser or ucla health for working as an admin staff. Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. But I was alao told kaiser offers a dollar each year as a raise. I want a place I can grown and stsy Long term. Any one have any insight on kaiser and what they offered.UCLA Health Kaiser Permanente

A bit of further context since there's a character limit: It's just myself and one other person who share the same responsibilities, and they're specialized things so I can't 'wing it' or figure it out on my own. Some things I understand not being trained on yet, because they're reports that come in daily or weekly and are sometimes empty so if they're empty, I can't use them to learn,
I also appreciate that my boss has had the best laid intentions of getting me trained up on some things-there's been talks of getting test environments set up for me to learn how to do some stuff, but life keeps throwing her curve balls that are stretching her thin and she has to go back to the drawing board.
I mostly just want to make sure that because I don't know how to do certain things yet, it wont be reflecting on me in my review once it comes around in June.
Mentor
I'd say document everything.
Send emails about every single thing.
Be proactive - follow up constantly on the process of your getting access to whatever system or platform it is.
Offer suggestions on alternative ways to learn or get the training, for example, ask if you can reach out to xyz or if there is a self-led training you can take.
Ask for things you can do in the period while you're less busy.
And did I mention, document everything? If you have a discussion, go back and send an email recap.
