I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon

Get involved with early stage non profits. Help them set up or expand, give pro bono advice if your firm allows. They will Eventually have a board opening or you can approach them about joining.
Non profit boards can be a good stepping stone to company boards etc and are a great way to network with other companies and clients, especially if you service professional service firms or banks etc.
Many nonprofits are high profile in their communities, such as Meals on Wheels, Catholic Charities, your local "Friends of (the Library, the Police, the Zoo, etc.)." And then there are always the ISDs. Join up as a volunteer and then transition to the Board.
I personally delivered meals once a month for Meals on Wheels. They tapped me on the shoulder when a Board position opened up, and I took it. I did it because I love and believe in the mission of their organization, but the unexpected benefits were surprising.
I became acquainted with many wealthy benefactors of our organization who were well known household names in the community. You know, the wealthy family name who has a building named after it at the university; the ones who gifted millions to build the world-class concert hall downtown. And then there's the one who donated a custom designed pipe organ for the Church (multiple-millions). You get actual face time with some of these folks. Take advantage, but don't become a boor.
Try developing mentoring relationships and go from there. Good luck!
Usually organizations have subcommittees (events, communications, sponsorships) so get involved as a volunteer at the committee level. Once a board position opens up you’ll have the name recognition and social capital having already been involved in the org.
