In the UK and Ireland they don't put age on the CV because they think it's rude, but as soon as you go for an interview they find out you're 40 and you can have whatever experience you have, which they discard. I work as medical Device engineer, 20 years of experience, my English is intermediate to advanced and I can't get any sponsorship in Ireland or the UK.
You look here or on Indeed, there are several vacancies, but just say Sponsor and they will see your age and they will reduce it to zero.

Hi, I applied for a BFSI domain consultant position at TCS through Linkedin. Next day two people took my interview and said they are good to go with my profile. I might have one more tech round and HR will contact. After 4-5 days HR sent Ibegin link to create my profile and update details. Then it's been 3 weeks no other update. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

So I accepted an offer back in mid March but I didn’t negotiate it up and now I’m regretting it, because apparently you’re supposed to. I got a much higher salary than expected and a sign on bonus, and it’s been a while since I accepted the offer, and the start date is later this year…. Is it too late to ask for a bit more though?
