In working for multiple clients (& multiple workstreams on each), I find myself spending a lot of time trying to remember “where we’re at” in any given project — what we’re waiting on from clients/creatives, when we need to start thinking about things that were pushed off, outstanding one-off questions/requests, etc.

How do you track all of your projects, action items when things are ever-changing? I’ve tried using Tasks, Notes & Notion but am still struggling.

I was running into the same time killer as you at the last agency I worked at - trying to manage multiple projects and requests. I looked into different project management software and presented it to my supervisor, who shot it down. Then I moved on to the agency I’m at now, which uses Asana and it helps SO much. Any similar software, like Monday, would work just as well. I would recommend looking into one of those and seeing if you can get buy-in from up top for a subscription.

If there is a case that we have to quarantine again. Do you all think it is possible for store associates to work remotely? If so, what are some ways this could work? I fear another pandemic or outbreak and so many people being out of work again. I can't even fathom those that had jobs in retail that had little to no choice to not be remote.

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

Young solo here w/ a question about fees: 1. A local solo criminal defense attorney has offered to pay me to go and make appearances before the Court on some of her cases to make announcements. (For example, “ready when reached”). I’m open to doing this and this attorney is asking what my fee would be? Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on what a reasonable fee would be to do something like this? Hourly? Flat Fee? 2. I want to ensure this is ethical. I don’t see an issue with this. Thoughts?

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

How do you simplify without losing value?
