I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

It isn't just the water portion, most people choose i Durante because they have to have it. They do not see property insurance as protecting one of their most valuable assets outside of their health. They look at price, choose high deductibles to save a few dollars and then they meet me and at that point it is too late. People no li get know how to maintain their homes. for example i had a claim due to a prong from an electrical plug breaking off in a socket 😩they had no idea that it was not covered and if it was well deductible. Insurance is not a maintenance plan. They overlook the whole darn coverage, no matter how much you as an agent explain it, or I as an adjuster. They do not keep paperwork, they have no earthly idea where their inspection reports are within a few years of buying the home.
The biggest gap seems to be hurricanes in the southeast and fire coverage in CA and HI. Maybe it doesn’t matter since FEMA steps in.
