Anecdotal but mine took almost 2 weeks to hear back. Honestly our recruiting could use some work
Some? LOTS of it. It’s terrible
Recruiting sucks. It took them 2 weeks to follow up with someone I referred.
Is the role client facing or internal? I know some in internal group and see where’s it at. DM if you want to talk more.
Client facing
Don’t wait for them to call you! Call them and show how interested you are in the job.
You mean directly call the recruiter ?
Or email him first ? I’m a little confused here as to how it would come across.
Pick up the phone, call the recruiter, and talk to them. Say you’re following up as to the status of your application. No email, no text, just a direct conversation. This is far more effective, and it tells them you’re serious.
I was patient and heard back within 2 weeks for advisory. I’m not sure how calling them would be perceived. If it’s once OK but if it’s like multiple times I will not be pleased
I haven’t called or emailed the recruiter yet, but thinking of calling them today..
I did try calling today, and what I was expecting - they didn’t answer, and I left a voicemail.. let’s see what happens, but I agree if they don’t come back to us, obviously we’ll want to know what’s happening with the status or atleast a feedback.
