Interviewed for S&O role and wanted to share. Recruiter told me to expect problem solving and stakeholder comm, behavioral and case type questions… It ended up being one 25-min interviewee-led case. I was surprised given all that I had read online about RRK and GCA and Googleyness and the pride Google has in its “unbiased”interview process… it felt like any other MBB interview where your case interviewer decides your fate… guess S&O is just like any consulting firm…

Just accepted a promotion to be the manager of a dying department. Long story short, either way I’d be doing two jobs, so I accepted the position for more money/title. I have a loop interview with Amazon in two weeks. I have done two loop interviews before but unfortunately didn’t get the job offer. I am planning to start with Google's Cloud Digital Leader (CDL) certification and later will move further for Associate Cloud Engineer Certification. But upon searching on the internet I couldn't find any jobs that require CDL, mostly starting with Associate Cloud. I am looking at recent job postings for Google Product managers and not sure how I can better align myself. I have experience implementing and supporting SaaS ERP solutions (Yardi, Workday), business systems analysis and product road mapping. I’m an MIS grad and also hold my PMP, DASM and CSM. I’ve tried for years at the big 4, but product managers are a hot field right now. Any advice on pivoting?

Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead.
