Does anyone here have experience working as a PM for a non-profit? I have an interview with one that I would love to be a part of. I can’t find much information online regarding salary expectations. I am willing to take a pay cut to join a non-profit I am passionate for. That being said - I’m trying to balance knowing it may be lower with not accepting a low-ball offer due to lack of information.
Would it be better to exit when things are still good? I’m finishing up year 1 at Bain and have generally had a positive experience (great teams, great cases, etc), but I don’t want to stay here forever. I go back and forth on the thought of leaving every day since I also have a young baby. Were it not for her, I would absolutely stay for 2-3 years.

What does the Ops Transformation/ Financial Services team do at Deloitte? Is it strategy work or tech implementation? Any insight on the interview process? TIA.
QQ: What can one negotiate in terms of base pay for senior consultant role at deloitte in Salesforce practice? I have 9 years of experience with 5 in Salesforce. My current base pay is around $135k in the company I work for.
Started a new job very recently. Like under a month. Interviewing (because i never turn down a convo) at another place that I’m fairly sure will offer me a job. Both these opportunities are good. The first offers a good brand building opp. The second offers a great new media opp. If these events coincided I would take the second. A bit torn on how to handle
Is Technical Program Manager higher in scale than a Technical Project Engineering Manager? How much more salary can be expected for the program manager position compared to Technical Project Engineering Manager? What is the difference between a Product Manager and a Program Manager?
Interviewed on the brand side with a very well known beauty company. They wanted to take my 5 years of experience and only pay $65k (NYC). The recruiter said I should really be flexible and be open to a salary cut if I want to move to the brand side. I know this such bullshit having done other interviews in the past.
My anxiety is keeping me up right now. I started this role in the beg. Of Dec. In which ends in sept. I feel i have given this enough time to either like or dislike. I truly want to roll off opinions?
Close to making Associate (Pre-MBA) and 120K at ATK, but considering making the jump to entry-level at MBB and taking the pay cut for better exit ops (i.e. PE). Thoughts?
Anyone make a move while in business school? Did it hurt your hiring prospects/prevent you from getting an offer? I’m trying to move to an MBB while in my executive program and trying to figure out how flexible they are/if I should wait to finish the MBA first.
My SO gets really upset about background noise when he’s on calls. Running the sink, accidentally knocking something, emptying the trash, opening a closet etc. We live in a 1 bedroom apt and both work in the living area. Today maintinence came to fix a broken thermostat, they knock and he’s on a call and he gestures angrily at me. I let the guy in, he’s gone 5min later. After he yells at me how I never think of him first and I should have had them come back. AITA?
I’ve got a technical interview for a Salesforce Admin role at Accenture any tips for prep? Willing to get on a phone call with someone too if possible.
I want to exit to MBB but if that’s not a possibility what are the next best consulting firms? Looking for at least midsize firms (non-boutiques).
Is it normal for companies to schedule more rounds of interviews with you after the on-site?
Experienced hire interviewing for big four - Is interviewing with a couple partners in the group an almost certain signal that you will get the offer or not close enough, assuming you don't mess up the interview? I have interviewed with 4 partners already and still heard nothing for one week from HR. Just being concerned....
Can someone refer me to KPMG for the indirect tax litigation role? Job Id: 21000BV5 Please leave a ❤️ or emoji/comment for more reach. Thank you🙏
Any thoughts on Accenture's Skills Interview?
Brought the interns out for drinks on Thursday and dropped $400...getting that signed off as an expense on Monday will be fun 🙈
How to best utilize your time when you’re on the bench? I have started some online learning, getting ready for CFA, exercising, cooking, reading books, but I still feel that I have plenty of unused time. And the routines are killing me too.
What would you do if you were out on a parental leave for 12 weeks? (Besides taking care of your newborn) Taking ideas!
Hi! 2019 grad and started working in-house at a large org. Learning a lot, my area is finance and corporate. Curious to know if there are any folks here who moved to a big law firm from an in-house position (very early on in their career). Was it easy? Did you like it? Very happy in my current position - I def have great work life balance, but feel need more than that. Thanks in advance.
Currently in a rotational program at EY (first year out of undergrad). Got placed on a long term risk project and wondering if it’s worth it staying long term. Currently interviewing for the strategy team at a legacy payments company (think visa or Mastercard) and wondering if it’ll stifle growth doing internal consulting. Would definitely appreciate any insights on this as I’m not too sure who who talk to and ask. Thanks!
Can you expense if you forgot a charger at home and had to buy at client location? Over $80
Accenture bench is deeeeep. Especially strategy.
What are the best consulting firms to work for in Chicago right out of undergrad based on salary and perks?
Pro se plaintiff, an attorney, filed a complaint alleging mold defects after closing on a property. Client, layperson, may have agreed orally to a settlement amount without proof of damages prior to filing appearance and obtaining an attorney. Client filed appearance pro se, then plaintiff sent over a draft settlement agreement few weeks later which client didn’t sign. Client then got an attorney, filed answer, etc. Can this oral agreement be voided for coercion, indefinite mat’l term, etc?
I’ve found myself placed in a strategic leadership position despite not having a strategy background due to consistent layoffs. Any tips on how to grow my strategic chops? Books, newsletters?? Help!
When do utilization rates reset at PwC?
What’s the best place to view salary compensation range for manager level roles at Deloitte? Blind, Levels ?
Got a job offer client side. Would be making 30k+ more BUT it's a long term contract role (no benefits, Paid PTO etc.). I'm not unhappy or happy where I'm at currently. What to do what to do.
Both roles are within the big 4. Which service line has better exit ops? Consulting or audit?
My firm sent an email yesterday saying their tracking billable hours DAILY. It’s either they don’t think we’re working from home or about to have some layoffs 🤷🏼♀️
