Around 160
I am not sure, but I'm currently in consulting and have an additional 11 years professional work experience (9 of which was military service). I have read that on campus hiring typically offers around 145k
I'm a first year MBA consultant at $145k...so that should give you a base
Yeah but S& gets paid more than pwc management consulting. There is a difference. Just ask the clients ;)
Depends if M1, M2 or M3. M1 is 160k, M2 is 170k, M3 is 185k. Then SM after that. Bonus variable, but generally 15 - 30% individual, ~10% global
PwC differentiates between strategy and management consulting. Both are horizontals in Advisory... one has a dumb name (S&) 😂
I don't disputed the pay gap... the question remains as to value. Can the client tell the difference? Absolutely, because they're paying more. 🤔
Not hating... one firm, right? 😂 I happen to be former Booz Allen... just not a partner.
I wish PwC didn't create such a gap between us and the rest of MC. How can we properly integrate into one firm when you distinguish the two like that?
Whatever it is, take it!! Get the F out while you can!!
Good job getting in as a manager. How did you swing that? Is that standard for MBAs coming into Accenture?
We usually bring them in as consultants, but I'm guessing OP has a few more years of experience
Level 7 Manager or Level 7: Manager? Regardless, good job.
And the numbers above are ACN strategy. Lower in management consulting
Confuses me every time a ACN guys rationals strategy vs management consulting. Such made up BS by Accenture. Strategy should just be one of the functions of management consulting. MBB are all at the end management consulting companies.
It's made up but yup they pay people more in strat compared to mc. It's that simple, they made a decision to pay strat at market with MBBD in order to attract people who may otherwise not join ACN
In addition to that it's now up or out - you have a set number of years at level, if you don't progress you're counseled out. So it's stressful that way, but same model as MBB
Get that money!
It's more for segmentation right? S& is a more "premium" product, designed to compete with MBB, Deloitte S&O, Parthenon, etc. so they charge a higher rate. But work shorter projects.
