Not at all! I was 30 when I started as a post-MBA associate. I think it’s right around the average age for MBA associates — people in my class were all around the age (with 2-3 years in variance, some older and some younger). We were older than the associates who went straight from analyst to associate, but there aren’t many of them and most of them eventually leave to get their MBAs as well.
Phew, perfect. That’s exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thank you!
I graduated bschool at 30 and started IB
I graduated at 28 and started IB and would say I’m probably on the “younger” side of people going from MBA to IB. Most people are 28-32 when graduating an MBA and going into IB.
Definitely not old at all. Typical ages I've seen for post MBA associates are 28 to 33.
Go for it!
