Hey fishes
A friend of mine has recently received an offer from Mastek. His only(primary) concern before joining any organization is the job security that comes with it. I would therefore like to know to what extent is one's job secure at Mastek? Thanks in advance...

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I did my MBA at 30 in a full time top program, and was by no means the oldest person. Certainly not too old if you feel confident you can pivot to where you want to go. I’d say go for it!
Respectfully, what the heck is wrong with you? The only time you’re too old to start your MBA is when you give up on doing it. I did mine at 34 with a newborn daughter. Go and get it! Better still, get your employer to pay for it.
I started mine at 34. Best thing I ever did for myself.
There are basically two types of MBA: out-of-college MBAs, and “Executive” MBAs that are most beneficial when you have plenty of experience. They are done by people well into the 50s and they are great. So depending on the objectives you have… take one or the other
I’d like to co-sign this post, if you are open to looking beyond H/S… you should consider an EMBA. Most of your cohort will have years of experience, similar to you. Im 38, the average age in my cohort, but the youngest person was 27 and oldest was well above 60.
No, 30 years old is not too old to start an MBA. You’ll fit right in. If you’re going for PE, make sure to go to a target school. PE is going to be highly competitive.
Last I checked, average age of top programs was 27 or so
No. I’d say the average ages these days is about 29 if you are working and doing your
MBA. When I went through my MBA program I believe the youngest was 27 and the oldest was like 45.
Age isn’t a factor but your chances of getting in are gonna be tough at H/S as they both skew towards younger applicants (esp for traditional paths like consulting, banking and PE). How many YOE do you have?
Started mine at 31. No, not too old.
