This SEC reporting offer is a massive cash jump, a true management title. However, the office is in a suburban corporate park with a 45-minute commute each way, meaning I’m giving up 7.5 hours a week to my car. Would you do it?

Due to a recent company-wide increase and additional pay for bilingual direct reports I am only making a dollar and change above them as their supervisor. I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. I really tried to get them to budge on salary, they did not, but shortly after accepting they gave the whole company a dollar raise.

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range.
