Is ACN recruiting on hold and/or have/had layoffs? I interviewed but things then just stopped.

I had a interview in Mindtree on 5th Jun 2021 and on 7th June they told me that i have been selected and will soon roll out the offer and after that i got "Your Selection Process" email from mindtree careers and after that i have received any communication from then and today when i checked the status of my application its changed to "Parked". Can someone explain what does that mean? I have tried calling and sent an email to HR multiple times but got no response. Can someone suggest what should

Interviewing for a Consultant role at ACN, was then contacted about a manager role and scheduled the initial interview. Recruiter reached out and said the manager interview would be canceled 😑 fml

I literally hate how unprofessional some recruiters are, got an offer at a hedge fund and the recruiter is saying that I topped their budget which is 10k under my bare minimum range, like why the fuck would i interview with you then if you can’t “afford” me. Also, it’s very frustrating to not hearing anything from other recruiters that leave me hanging with 0 updates on the status. Just be fucking honest and you wouldn’t have such understaffed departments.

Having a difficult time recruiting a social media manager. I've interviewed countless people but I'm looking for the right mix of experience + willingness to work fast on multiple things (We're a startup) 2 offers declined for competing offers, other candidates accepted other offers before getting to the panel interview phase even though I wanted to take them there. Is the job market just *that* hot?

Many candidates reject an offer from a company after getting the offer letter because they got a better offer elsewhere. So companies say that this costs them a lot. I want to understand what is this cost. Its not like they had to pay a person some money even if the candidtae didn't join. Also the joining bonus is paid after a candidate joins and is usually returned if left before a yr. So what cost do they talk about?

Been recruiting at FedEx for a couple of years. I have no recruiting background outside of that but interested in leveling up to professional level recruiting (Tech, healthcare, finance, etc). I’ve created a LinkedIn and gotten a decent amount of interest and had a few interviews. However after my first interview for a RPO firm they asked what recruiting training have I had — I have no idea where to start — Any suggestions? Are there certifications I need to obtain?
