In most cases, no. There is more to be gained once you have several years of work experience under your belt that you can build on through the MBA, otherwise it's more of a theoretical exercise. Additionally, MBAs are excellent for building a strong network and making career pivots. It takes more life experience to take advantage of this. Also, not sure what "hybrid" MBA represents. A mix of online and in-person? In-person is best to foster the MBA network.
That’s understandable, thanks! I feel like this is a dumb question, but what should I do instead? I’m looking at certifications like PMP and CISSP, but those ask for 5 years experience. I’ve been in a more relaxed state over the past year but feel I’m not doing enough.
No. I've got an MBA from a top 10 US Business School and I've not gotten any better of jobs as a result.
Wait and go full time to a T10-15 program in a couple of years.
MBAs aren’t really worth it to begin with, unless they’re free.
I highly regret not doing grad school 1-2 years out. Still at B4 and I think not having a masters limited my options
I’d wait 2-3 yrs minimum - though to the earlier points, mbas aren’t of much value for everyone. Depends on your future career plans (especially if you choose to have your place of work cover tuition, if that’s an option)
