Hi fishes. I am currently working at a market research firm and have around 6 years of experience.
Do partners at top consulting firms have better WLB?
An Associate here contemplating whether all this is worth it.
Where’s the best consultancy to work at for digital people? Who has a great culture and supports there people? Convince me why I should work at your company.
I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
I will do MBA also post working in one of these firms.
I was hoping if anyone can help me to prepare better or suggest a plan to land a job for a role that aligns with my ambitions.
Feeling that my brain has been on “auto pilot” mode for years. I am Principal in one of the top consulting firms, promoted on fast track basis, so have not been “lazy” and doing good at work. But everything feels the same, nothing gets me intellectually stimulated anymore, and now I feel like if the trend continues, I might lose my ability to adapt and learn new things altogether. Does anybody else feel the same way? (Contd).
What's the pay range for a Director in Financial Crime and Compliance in any of the top consulting firms in New York?
Best/Top Consulting firms in Miami?
Any fish from LEK London willing to refer? Currently interviewing with other top consulting firms in London and keen to pursue LEK
Appreciate the help!
If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB? Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? I feel like I see many repeat or slightly altered solutions on almost all of my cases, are these really things that people at Deloitte/Accenture etc aren’t coming up with?
McKinsey & Company Can someone recommend the top consulting firms to look at for HCLS opportunities? Preferably firms with a dedicated BU in HCLS focused on advising as well as project based work. I am currently in discussions with Huron. I have looked at Oliver Wyman (appears to be heavy on payor and Rev Cycle), Deloitte McKinsey & Company and Capgemini I’ve reached out to McKinsey but didn’t receive a reply. Any direction/advice and referrals would be greatly appreciated!
Looking to switch companies as I don’t see much growth in where I am at. What are the best consulting firms in your opinion and why?

Best consulting firms for real inclusion?

I’ve recently left the world of consulting and joined a tech startup and my role is to build partnerships with consulting companies and SIs. My working hypothesis is that referral bonuses won’t be enough of an incentive in formalizing a partnership with the likes of Deloitte Digital. You all make your money on implementation but our product is pretty simple right now and easy to implement. How else can startups create relationships with you? We want referrals & for you tell clients about us.
Anyone here who left Amazon / Amazon Web Services ? What about their non compete agreement in India? How does it effect employees for future employment with other companies?
What kind of exam has to pass to clear certified technical interviewer training? What kind of questions they ask?
Anyone here thought about creating a fake profile just to call out cringy posts? Any downsides?

I've been at my current company for 15 years and 17 in the insurance industry. I'm struggling to even get a callback to interview. In a year, I've had one callback. I've sought out input on my resume from folks at the Executive level and there aren't any red flags. Am I just too entrenched and the long tenure scares employers or what?
Does anybody here have big dreams, CEO/billionaire/change the world type? Are you doing anything about it?

Might be niche but I want to short the Japanese economy in the long term. I’m seeing a few leveraged inverse ETFs for the Nikkei and yen, but not much more. I dont want to hold leveraged ETFs for a long time. What other options do I have as a normal retail investor (ie. No access to foreign or private markets)?

I am working at Kantar for over a year now, but feels like I am not getting much exposure. I am planning to shift from Kantar to Quamtum Consumer Solutions. Has anyone worked there or heard any reviews about the company?
I have been working with Kantar for 10 months now. The company has given me permanent work from home. Work is quite good and I am able to learn many things here. Also, my manager is very supportive and patient.
The only thing is about compensation, I have a package of 14 lpa with 6 YOE.
I'm thinking of switching to some company based in Pune.
What should I do?

Currently working as a Senior Analyst in Chemicals domain with 2.5 YoE. Engineer. Educational Background: Chemical Engineering, no MBA
Are there any opportunities for profiles like mine? A referral would be great!
Having 3YoE in procurement research and now in a research team at an MBB, I feel I've reached plateau learning-wise. Have been focused in Chemical domain throughout.
I now intend to explore roles on client(Chemical Companies) side (like SCM, Planning, Strategy) but unsure how do I go about it.
What should be an ideal career roadmap for someone like me. How should I prepare/do in order to pivot towards those roles?
PS. I'm a BE Chemical Engineering, and no MBA.
