Is anyone studying for the CFA exam right now? (Which now takes place in Dec instead of June). I’ve totally lost my motivation and wanted my refund instead.

Sure, happy to be of help

Yes. What level are you studying for? I’m at 3 so I’m def tryna close this out

Based on your most recent comment, I doubt you need to advance. Level 1 vs the full charter won’t make much difference. I had to do this in order to pivot careers (got a new job in November after having 1 & 2 under my belt)

Chick Fil A has tests? Shit.

Also I’m trying to exit to corp development/strategic planning roles at industry - will they need CFA for that? I already have an MBA

Very helpful! Thank you!

Hi, just wondering how the staffing situation has been in strategy consulting in general? My sibling started a job in strategy in Silicon Valley 2 months ago after MBA. She has been on the bench for 2 months and was informed that there has been a shortage of jobs (within the job) and the amount of people on the bench is getting high. She has been under a lot of stress although she had many great networking calls with people. I wanted to help but can't identify what she can improve on.

Interesting. Let’s see if the uptick In cases continues to drive an uptick in hospitalizations and then in fatalities. Depends on how many of the cases are incidental or in very young people not prone to severe cases. But either way, look at the hospital capacity utilization figures! This is the untold story. Were we bending the curve to avoid unnecessary deaths due to overcrowded hospitals, or were we bending the curve to buy time for treatments and vaccine, or just to slow fatalities?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.
