What's everyone hoping to get for Christmas? I got my present early: five months of billable work to start off 2016.
this email though– "...busy season to be defined as 9/12 to 12/31. based on client needs, may extend to 3/31. seniors/staff 50-55 billable hours." bc 6 mo of BS should be acceptable... 🙋🏼🔫
If Donald trump works from Trump Tower two days a week, is he remote and WFH? As his client, I am not ok with that since his billable rate is really high.
It's 5 PM before the long break. Do you know where your billable hours are? Stay utilized my friend.
I hate that our time focus is on billable hours. Minimum 55 hours really means working at least 12 hours M-Th, 10 on Fri, and 6 during the weekend once you factor in G&A and and other random things.
2,158 hours contracted a year. Tax season: 55 hour week minimum with 90% billable time. You?
Is loyalty a thing in consulting? Project leadership has been offering billable hours from the markup even though there's not much to do. Would it be bad if I leave for other opportunities?
In need of some billable work to do.
Is there a policy for charging billable hours on the weekend? Feel like I should be able to bill 1.5x+ for having to work on the weekend
Just had a SM call and ask to move over 2 weeks of billable work to a PRD code because the project is over budget. Just checked and this will put me just at 89% utilization for year end (cont.)
The anxiety doesn't stop. Project restricted to 40 billable hours, but have to work tomorrow because we just have too much to do. Overworked and underutilized. Eff me.
Does anyone count the time required to complete client specific expenses as billable time? It just took me 2 hours to complete 3 weeks worth of expenses!
There's a lull in copy work across the agency right now. I know work ebbs and flows, but is there a point when i should start actually worrying about lacking billable work?
Impromptu hour and a half lunch requested by management. Count towards billable hours? Already at 12-hour days and not really wanting to tack on additional time at end of day
Just received an email the other day giving all staff an OT requirement for June.. kind of hard to get that many billable hours in when none of the work is available 🙄
Getting this off my chest!
How does this sound?
Doing some research on the Ad Tech space in New York. For starters need to know some of the top players... thoughts?
Seeking encouragement for going on transition without a next step lined up. I can't optimize my job hunt / soul searching while working these hours. Mistake?

It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine...now I'm doing SWOTs and making sure the spreadsheet's clean
Anyone else think Dan Price/gravity payments is a joke? So what if your employees make 70k
Just heard that the new PwC hires are getting around 75k out of undergrad in NYC. I started at 65 and am at 76 a year later (in NYC). Does this mean I'll get some sort of a large raise?
What does it say that Accenture posts more than anyone else? That we have more to bitch about? Or that we do more than anyone else?
When's the last time you went into the office? Went in for the first time since June today 🙆🏼
