If male, I'd do button down tucked into khakis at the minimum. Add a blazer and I'll feel better.
For female I mainly see dresses with or without a blazer. Or some sort of blazer and pants combo. (Non fashionable straight guy here FYI - explains the inability to describe clothing)
I haven't worn a suit and tie to an interview since my first few jobs out of college. Dress like you would for a client meeting. Something somewhat stylish, pretty much anything other than jeans. It shows that you're respectful and professional without being out of touch with agency culture.
Agreed. I didn't wear a suit and tie, but I still looked fresh. Dress shirt, blazer, black jeans, dress shoes. Got the offers.
Check out smart causal dressing online and add something interesting to show a bit of individuality / creativity. Like a colorful scarf on your bag, interesting ring, etc. (female)
Not overly formal,i.e tie and suit. But dress like you mean it. Especially if you will have client interaction. Don't let sloppy attire make their attention drift from you and what you have to say. Check out their web (there's always pics of employees) and Glassdoor to get a sense of their culture and attire and aim a notch over that.
"Snappy casual" just look put together and fashionable
