Has anyone met anyone from this bowl?
Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.

At one agency, I started looking at 2 months. I labeled it freelance on my LinkedIn and resume. I got calls without questions.
Stealing this for future use
I’m looking and I haven’t even been here 6 months
If your resume is littered with short stints, then yes, it will look bad. If not and you have some nice consistency, don’t worry about it. Just have a really good answer for why you want to leave so soon after arriving. Sometimes it’s not a fit and that’s ok. Also helps if your current shop is known for churning and burning — gives more credence for you wanting to leave ASAP
Life is too short to be unhappy. If it’s not a right fit move on, I haven’t experienced it getting any better IMO.
Take cue from the folks who label short or awful stints as “freelance”.
Were you at least at the current agency for more than a year, even if it’s not the a year as a sup?
It depends on where you are. In Silicon Valley, nobody cares as people are always being poached and there aren’t enough candidates to go around.
