I would love to bring my dog in but I have no idea how these policies ever make it through because what about people who have allergies? What if the dog likes to mark and the carpet smells like pee forever? You'd have to like vet the dogs to do this effectively, but I know places allow it!
Absolutely a draw!! Animals are amazing for mental health and for motivation. Obviously only friendly and well behaved pets allowed but I think that becomes apparent quite quickly! This would tip me over to a Yes on an offer, no joke!
Hmm that’s an interesting question. I would say more of a turnoff for me…and this is coming from a compete dog lover. A lot of it has to do with me not trusting other pet owners to actually keep up to date on medicine/grooming/training and I could see how it could end disastrous. All that being said…I would love to walk into the office and play with a puppy for a while
I think this is fine if it's not like your pet snake or something like it should be just dogs under 15 pounds or something. But I always wonder about the smell so I guess I just want a tour of the place first hahah
Can't think of anything worse. I want their dogs at work as much as they want my kids....
Personally would not work at a place like this, allergy hell, too many behavioral unknowns, possibly noisy. Maybe if there was a designated area or something for people who wanted that but if it was free range absolutely not
Yes, it would be a con for me, if the job was paying enough I would still take it but I wouldn't enjoy dealing with dogs barking and fur everywhere while I work
I am allergic to dogs so yes that would be a hard no for me. Unless they were not allowed in common areas only in their owners office
Had a job that was flexible with this and a few people brought their dogs in. The accountant brought her service animal golden retriever in most days, he stayed in her office only coming out when she did and was a pretty well behaved dog. There was one guy who tried to bring his husky puppy into the office and it peed all over the kitchen floor. He never brought the husky puppy back in again. I like a bring your pet policy but it definitely depends on the behavior of the animal.
Probably a turn off for me. This is a workplace and not a day care or doggy day care. You wouldn’t be good with coworkers bringing in kids every day, same with pets.
