Is it became hard to find a job as a Mid-Level Motion Designer nowadays? All the hiring posts I found lately was asking for a person who edits/design/animate all at once.

I've been in the industry for nearly 5 years and at the current time I need to land a job that expands my skills and where I can develop myself to reach the senior level. Where should I look?

I’ve been working at a rather prestigious midsized firm in a big city for almost a year and a half now. I have been having a lot of trouble picking up work from senior partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. It seems like the senior partners already have their “go to” associate for things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can increase my workload? I reach out for work pretty much weekly.

A producer that I know, from a multinational company in Dubai told me that they smoke inside the office, like in their tables, meeting rooms and everywhere surrounded by non-smokers. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Please help!
