Is it better to go ahead and take the current PMP exam or wait for the new exam coming out in January?

Would MBB firms ever pay for your MBA tuition if you got your MBA prior to joining? Like if you agreed to stay on for X number of years and they pay down your loans. Does that happen?

Asking because, I am leaving IBM GBS, have told my designation as Senior software engineer ( offer letter had it) to the other company, but got to know that designation IBM will be writing on relieving letter will be application developer. Need some Advice.. I’m a professional MBA student that was working FT and used an PM internship to transition into the space. I stepped in for an actual PM who was on leave and was doing real work. In august they extended my internship to Nov. Yesterday, They offer me a FT APM role, but it starts July 10 and have to respond by 10/15. Internship still ends in Nov, so no employment for 7 months. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
