Not common but just try to do well. They are likely trying to see fit.
SC1 Nope, currently out of a Healthcare Consulting firm. Lindenwood is in STL, MO
OP this is very common in a lot of groups at EY - my guess is that this SM has an immediate need that they are hiring for and they want to see if you are a fit for that particular role/team. More interviews are almost always a good sign, as they would not waste that SMs time if they weren’t strongly considering you!
You will be fine. It will likely be a fairly informal chat about your CV/experience! Don’t worry too much. We are all nice here ☺️
Or do you think it’s more like manager I might report to, that person wants to feel my experience/personality out?
I definitely know the SM is from the same practice as per HR. Not sure of what you mean by “ messed up the internal process”. There was this one interviewer who kept on pushing and asked me 4 different time why not MBB and why this organization? Annoying, but I think it’s his vote which could have changed the results. As the Partner loved me very much and saw me fit for his practice.
Sorry for the long post
So this happened. Do you think it’s salary negotiations. My ballpark was more than what they were able to offer.. this came in right now
Yes, sounds like salary discussions
