It’s all negotiable although usually you’d agree up front what chores you’d expect her to do. That said, we tend to keep our nanny’s chores to kid-related tasks - it was enough work that she stays busy through nap time between laundry, cleaning up toys, handling the dishes. When our kids were little she would make baby food or cut up and prep snacks to have in the fridge ready for the kids, disinfect toys, deep clean the stroller or car seat or high chair etc.
Discuss up front and put in writing. So worth it, it's been a life saver to have a solid hour of chores done every day
Discuss it up front. Some nannies clean/tidy and others do not.

Agree, it’s really about the upfront alignment

I wouldn’t get a nanny that doesn’t want to do this kind of thing. We still have a regular cleaning service that does bathrooms, dusting, etc. But our nanny does the daily stuff like garbage, dishes, laundry, vacuuming, etc.
